What I do
My research interest is in understanding human origins and evolution using population genetics & bioinformatics methods. I specialize in mitochondrial DNA, Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms (SNP), Human Leukocyte Antigen (HLA) genes, and whole genome sequence analyses, with special interest in indigenous Southeast Asian populations (e.g. Fig 1).
